My Home Away From Home
The longer I am at BYU Idaho the more I am starting to consider it my home. I know that no matter how long I am here Mesa and Orem will always be home. I am glad I chose to come to this school. We just had a discussion in my about proposition eight. And although it has already passed the fight for this is far from over. My teacher stated that we are beginning to feel what the saints of the beginning of the church went through. Although we are not being thrown from our houses and forced to leave our homes with no notice, there are saints in California who cannot even go to their usual building due to a fear for their safety. The more I study Proposition Eight the more I realize that this is a definite sign for the second coming. Politics was always something that was discussed in my family. My brother was way into politics when he left for his mission and I followed in his footsteps. I can't wait to come back to my home in Orem, sorry people in Mesa, and talk to everyone.
